At LifeStyle Home Builders, our mission has always been about more than building homes\u2014we build places where families live, grow, and thrive. With over 30 years of experience and a dedication to thoughtful design, we create communities and floor plans that reflect how people truly live today.<\/p>\n

Our team of experienced, passionate professionals takes pride in every home we build. That pride has earned us the Home Building Association of Richmond’s Builder of the Year<\/em> award eight times, including most recently in 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Kevin McNulty\u2019s homebuilding journey began at 16 on a job site in the mountains of Virginia. After graduating from Virginia Tech and spending several years in software development, Kevin and his wife Lori returned to Virginia in 2004, where Kevin joined LifeStyle Home Builders in Land Acquisition & Development.<\/p>\n

He went on to serve as Vice President of Operations, President, and eventually CEO. In 2016, when company founder Lloyd Poe retired, Kevin and Lori acquired LifeStyle Home Builders\u2014ushering in a new chapter while preserving the company\u2019s strong foundation and family-oriented values.<\/p>\n

Lori, a former nurse, transitioned into the company in 2018, overseeing customer selections and the Design Studio before becoming Vice President of Culture. Her work helped deepen the company\u2019s commitment to service, integrity, and customer experience.<\/p>\n

In January 2024, LifeStyle Home Builders officially became an employee-owned company<\/strong>, marking a new and exciting chapter in our story. This milestone honors the hard work, heart, and dedication of the team that has shaped our company for decades\u2014and ensures that every team member has a personal stake in our shared success.<\/p>\n

From the foundation laid by Kevin and Lori to our future as an employee-owned company, one thing remains constant: a commitment to excellence, thoughtful design, and creating homes that truly feel like home.<\/p>\n

We conduct our business in strict adherence to both Federal and Virginia Fair Housing Laws.
